01 — THE TRIP
Ten days in the Kingdom of Bhutan: the capital with no traffic lights, the glacial valley of Gangtey and its cranes, the Punakha fortress and the hike to the Tiger's Nest, clinging to a cliff over 3,000 meters high.
02 — WHAT'S COVERED
Luggage: Due to vehicle capacity, each traveler may bring only one suitcase of up to 15 kg and one backpack. Any additional luggage is the traveler's responsibility and must be handled on their own, for example by leaving it at the base hotel, subject to the hotel's availability.
Groups of maximum 16 travelers, ages 6 to 100. Every trip has different physical requirements, so if a minor joins, they should be an independent kid who enjoys being outdoors — not one glued to an iPad all day. Solo travelers are welcome: we pair men with men and women with women in double or triple occupancy.
International flights are not included unless expressly stated on the trip page.
International community
On any given departure you may share the route with travelers from Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Spain and other countries. We don't sell tours: we offer guided adventure trips, run in Spanish, in small groups of maximum 16 people.

GUSTO
The national dish: whole chilies cooked in melted cheese, spicy and comforting.
Steamed dumplings filled with meat or vegetables, found in every market and every valley.
A high-altitude grain with a light nutty note, served with almost every Bhutanese meal.
In Bhutan, chili is not a seasoning: it is the main course. Eating ema datshi facing a 17th-century dzong, with the valley steaming below, is understanding that here the cuisine was also kept safe from time.
