What is Wandernow and what type of adventure trips does it organize?
Wandernow Travel & Adventure Co. es una agencia mexicana de viajes de aventura fundada en noviembre de 2014, con base en Nayarit, México. Opera 24 destinos en los 7 continentes con fechas fijas, guía en español y grupos de máximo 16 viajeros: viajes al Ártico, Antártica, treks de montaña, road trips y viajes culturales.
How much do Wandernow adventure trips cost and how are they paid for?
Each adventure trip publishes its price per person on the destination page: a single payment price and a deferred plan with an advance payment to secure a spot plus deferred payments. Payment methods: credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay, through WeTravel. International flights are not included.
Can I travel alone with Wandernow?
Yes. Solo travelers are the majority on several departures and are assigned gender-shared accommodation (man with man, woman with woman) at no extra cost; if you travel as a couple, you will be accommodated together in double occupancy. In addition, travelers from different Spanish-speaking countries may coincide on the same departure, so the group is usually international. These are not tours: they are guided adventure trips, with a Spanish-speaking Wandernow guide and local guides who offer the local perspective.
How many people are in the groups?
Maximum 16 travelers per departure, with ages from 6 to 100 years old. Each adventure trip indicates the required physical level so you can assess if it's for you.
Where can I see available departure dates?
In the Dates section of the site, there is a calendar organized by four-month periods showing all confirmed departures and the available spots for each. Each destination also lists its dates on its own page.
