  • International groups: depending on the date, travelers from different Spanish-speaking countries may join
  • A Spanish-speaking Wandernow guide throughout, plus local guides (in English, sometimes Spanish) who add the local perspective

Why travel with us?

  • No more than 16 travelers—never a tour bus.

  • A Wandernow guide with you throughout the journey.

  • International groups—you meet people from other countries along the way.

  • We don't sell tours ruled by a fixed schedule: the best part of a journey is often what wasn't planned. If you know how to let go and flow, this trip is for you.

Flavours of Scandinavia

Gravlax — Flavours of Scandinavia

Gravlax

Salmon cured in salt, sugar and dill without cooking, a Viking preservation technique.

Köttbullar — Flavours of Scandinavia

Köttbullar

Swedish meatballs with creamy gravy and lingonberry jam.

Nordic aquavit — Flavours of Scandinavia

Nordic aquavit

Caraway-and-dill spirit accompanying every “skål” around the table.

New Nordic cuisine began with a simple idea: use only what grows at that latitude, in that season, regardless of its origin. On a road trip through fjords and forests, the philosophy becomes literal: dinner is what that afternoon’s landscape offered.
