  • International groups: depending on the date, travelers from different Spanish-speaking countries may join
  • A Spanish-speaking Wandernow guide throughout, plus local guides (in English, sometimes Spanish) who add the local perspective
  • We don't sell tours: we offer guided adventure trips, in Spanish, in small groups of maximum 16 people.

Why travel with us?

  • No more than 16 travelers—never a tour bus.

  • A Wandernow guide with you throughout the journey.

  • International groups—you meet people from other countries along the way.

Flavours of the Faroe Islands

Skerpikjøt — Flavours of the Faroe Islands

Skerpikjøt

Lamb fermented and dried for months in Atlantic wind inside open sheds.

Catch of the day — Flavours of the Faroe Islands

Catch of the day

Cod and langoustines brought straight from the quay to the table.

Faroese beer — Flavours of the Faroe Islands

Faroese beer

Small breweries using glacial water from the 18 islands.

In the Faroes wind is not weather but an ingredient: meat hangs in open sheds and cures without fire or ice, only constant Atlantic air. This is the cuisine of an archipelago that turned extreme weather from an obstacle into a technique.
