FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is March a good month to see the Northern Lights?

Yes. Around the spring equinox, geomagnetic activity intensifies, and nights are still long and dark. We book several aurora hunting nights to maximize opportunities.

Can you still enter an ice cave?

In March, yes, but it's the end of the season. From the second half of the month, melting makes many natural caves unsafe, which is why the trip is scheduled for the beginning of the month.

Do I need prior experience?

No. It's a gentle adventure trip: short glacier walks with equipment and a certified guide. We welcome travelers aged 6 to 100, in groups of up to 16.

Are flights included?

No. International flights are not included unless the trip details expressly state otherwise.

How much does the Iceland trip with Wandernow cost?

€3,984.00 euros per person paying in a single payment. On the deferred plan the total is €4,330.00 euros per person: a €1,000.00 euros deposit to hold your spot and up to 10 deferred payments (the last one 60 days before departure).
